I see you....

So, like any blogger I track my traffic. It's almost turned into a game for me. I enjoy seeing where my people come from {I know there are some people that are no longer in my life that "stalk" my blog} but just today I saw something a little different.

My favorite part of tracking really ends up being in the Google Search category. What key words bring my blog up...how do people find their way here. The DIY Wooden Pallet Wine Rack/Pallet Wine Rack usually gets the most hits, with the bookcases being the second and are always included on this list. However, today's favorite search key words?



I bet you can't guess which my favorite is :)

I'm not shocked by people searching DIYDavisStyle or DIY Davis Style {that is the person I mentioned above I'm sure, a sibling's CUH-RAY-ZEE ex}but the one that really gets me is that "gained so much weight belly pic week"

I'm sorry...how does that bring my blog up????

    I use statcounter, what tracker do you use? It gives me the "stalker" right down to their IP address (and I can label them) but I don't understand the search part. You're making me feel like I'm using the wrong one, because this would be comical!

      I just use the newest blogger platform. But yours sounds amazing! I'd love to see IP addresses :)

      Well it's totally free as long as you don't mind it holding only 6 months of data. I also like that it's a hidden widget. so no big nasty "Hey, I'm tracking you!" icon. Although I'm a blogger, I'm actually horrible at navigating it. I miss the old dashboard. I don't even know how to make my page it's own URL or .com website. I've been invited to join some blog community groups but I need the URL to add the button/join so I'm just in limbo looking very anti social. One day I'll just pay someone to overhaul it and design it. I just sign in, read, and post. haha.

      Lol you'll figure it out and if you can't, just call me :) your URL is http://ourfamilyperspective.blogspot.com/ but if you want it to just be a .com instead of a .blogspot.com you just have to purchase the domain name (I think I paid $10 to register mine) And if you decide you want to overhaul your blog, let me know...I can pass you along to Lauren--she did mine!!
