17 Weeks-I pee therefore I am...

Yay, 17 weeks! This past week FLEW by and I can hardly believe that one week from today, at this time (if BD cooperates) we will know it BD is a He or a She! In honor of getting farther along in my 2nd trimester J and I found THE crib that we both loved. It has been ordered and will be on its way to us soon! J's parents have flexible schedules {his dad builds amazing custom houses} so they can come down and visit more often. This also means that "Pops" {J's Dad} is super handy and can help us paint and do the things to the room that were only a dream in my head. 2 weekends ago Mimi and Pops {That's what BD will call J's parents} came down and J and his dad not only painted the nursery, but they also hung crown moulding along the ceiling and chair rail around the entire room. It's completely ready for furniture and baby! {You all know how I like to be prepared!} So without further ado...
How far along? 17 weeks
Size: BD weighs as much as a turnip and is about 5 inches from head to bum
Total weight gain: +5 lbs {I'm down a pound from last week....I don't like to eat when I'm hot...}
Maternity clothes? I still will never go back to regular pants....you can't make me! And i am loving the shirts with the ruched sides...so comfy and forgiving
Stretch marks? Those 2 last week? definitely old :) we're all clear
Sleep: About 7-8 hours a night. Not really taking naps anymore
Best moment this week: Ordering the crib...
Miss Anything? Sushi....I have wanted it really bad lately!
Movement: Still sporadic
Food cravings: Fruit, veggies (definitely salads)...and the sushi I can't eat :( 
Anything making you queasy or sick: If I don't eat....and apparently riding in the back seat of a car... 
Gender: We get to find out next Thursday {if BD cooperates}
Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: None this week! Feeling GREAT! Except as the title says...I have to pee...ALL.THE.TIMEBelly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On :)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy...but a little moody now and then
Looking forward to: Feeling MORE movement and J being able to feel baby too  
Next Appointment: August 9nd, find out the gender!!!

    Exciting news on the crib. We have our nursery painted and we know what crib we want, but we haven't bought it yet. I picked out the bedding, too, but I haven't ordered that either. I told TJ we had to start buying stuff soon so we can spread out the cost!

      That is one of the major reasons I have started...that and I am too excited to wait :) I'm making all of the bedding so I definitely need as much time as I can get! Before you buy your crib search on Amazon....we got a great deal because I showed a friend the crib we were leaning towards and she found it on Amazon! I can't wait to see how you all decorate BA's nursery :)
